Description | It is one of the most common butterflies seen in Great Himalayan National Park. The wing span is 55-65 mm. It is mostly seen in and forests, and in garden too. It is attracted to rotten fruit, visits flowers. It flies between 400-3900m in Himalaya. In case of adult upper forewing is dark brown in colour. The upper hindwings are black –spotted reddish terminal band. |
