Description | One of the commonest swallowtails seen in Great Himalayan national Park. The male is black in colour with a row of white spots on the hindwing. Females have three forms. The form cycus which mimics the male but has red spots on the hindwing. The common Mormon flies at a low level and not as high. It prefers to frequent flowers with long corolla tubes. |
